Tārīkh-i Rashīdī - تاريخ رشيدى
- Scope & Content:
-
The history of the Mongol rulers of Central Asia and early Mughals, by Mīrzā Ḥaydar Dughlāt (d. 958/1551). Translated from Persian by Muḥammad Niyāz at Khotan in 1263/1846.
The manuscript contains no date of copying, nor the name of a copyist.
An ownership seal is found on f. 1v under the Bismillah, although imperfect inking and distortion make it difficult to read. The same (?) stamp is found on f. 214v, although with less ink and partially obscured by the binding.
