27 quires: i8 (unfoliated balnk leaves), iifourteen (ff. 1-5 + unfoliated leaves), iii-xvi8 (ff. 6-12 + unfoliated leaf, ff. 13-20, 21-28, 29-36, 37-44, 45-52, 53-60, 61-68, 69-76, 77-84, 85-92, 93-100, 101-108, 109-116, 117-124), xvii-xx12 (ff. 125-136, 137-148, 149-160, 161-172), xxi-xxvii8 (ff. 173-180, 181-188, 189-196, 197-204, 205-212, 213-217 + unfoliated blank leaves). Last quire contains only unfoliated blank leaves. Structure of quire ii is unclear; it may be more than one quire.
Signatures in Hebrew characters at the beginning of the quires (starting on f. 21 = quire ב).
Catchword on almost every page; sometimes for both columns.
Condition
Collation is falling apart, some bifolios and leaves have come loose.
Usage stains, water damage, worm damage.

Uniform layout.
Main text is written in larger characters, with section headings in square script.
Commentaries surrounding the main text are written in much smaller characters.
Very wide outer and lower margins.
