Provenance and Acquisition

Ownership inscription on ff. 1r, 22r: הצעיר חי משה פיגוטו.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 790; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 10 March 1930.
