(b) note on event in ... - unique and extreme value - ... authentic record of the inner doings at the Sanhedrin." Most of the letters addressed to Jacob Moch, Jacob Abraham Moch, or Jacques Moch of Hagenau. Also mentioned Gougenheim and Coblence.
Ff. 52-53: written by Jacob Moch addressed to Baruch Cerf-Berr(?). Letters are dated 1806-1810.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 1200; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession 1 April 1926.
