History

Origin: 1700-1799 18th century West Bank (Nablus?)

Provenance and Acquisition

Label in the front pastedown reads 'No. 1160 de l'Enregist', indicating that it once belonged to a French collection. See also Or 14895, Or 14896, Or 14897.

Bought of Elias Assad as part of a lot of four manuscripts (Or 14894-Or 14897), 1 June 1994.
