The vakfiyename of Şemseddin Ahmet bin Abdülmuin, the Mütevelli of the Ayasofya Mosque, dated in Istanbul eva'il Cumaziulevvel 920 AH (late June 1514 CE).
The opening preamble of the text is in fully vocalized Arabic and features a small gold-leaf unvan; a gold, white, blue, purple and red medallion in the margin of f 1v; and gold text boxes on ff 1v and 2r. The main text, in Ottoman Turkish, begins on f 4v. It contains considerable information about property ownership and ethno-religious communities in Galata and surrounding areas.
The colophon is found on ff 55v-57r, and contains the names of 30 witnesses to the document.
