This collection of manuscripts was constituted by Mohana Raj's grand-father and father (deceased) and by Mohana Raj, all traditional siddha practitioners. The manuscripts were collected from the Siddha practitioners of the Kanniyakumari district. During the four last decades, the family transmission of Siddha medical practice has drastically decreased caused by the government policy towards siddha practitioners trained traditionally. Due to lack of interest of their children, some practitioners preferred to give their manuscripts when they had the opportunity.
This collection contains the following series:

- This collection of manuscripts was constituted by Mohana Raj's grand-father and father (deceased) and by Mohana Raj, all traditional siddha practitioners. The manuscripts were collected from the Siddha practitioners of the Kanniyakumari district. During the four last decades, the family transmission of Siddha medical practice has drastically decreased caused by the government policy towards siddha practitioners trained traditionally. Due to lack of interest of their children, some practitioners preferred to give their manuscripts when they had the opportunity.
