This volume contains a didactic religious treatise in Chagatai, concerning aspects of Islamic doctrine and ethics. The author is not named. The text features interlinear Persian translations of selected words throughout.
Among the other contents of this volume include a passage in Persian across ff 1v-2r interspersed with words in Devanagari script, as well as in one other script (possibly Avestan). There is also a separate passage of text in Persian at the bottom of 2r. There are numerological tables on 3r and 49r. There is a verb chart on 49v featuring words in Chaghatai and their Persian equivalents written below, for example ‘biyā’ is given for ‘gel’ and ‘āmad’ is given for ‘geldi.’
Though undated, this volume is likely from the 13th century AH/19th century CE.
