An astrological treatise giving the horoscopes of the Sultan, the Grand Vizier and all the principle officials of the Porte for the year 1231 AH (1815-16 CE). The work was compiled by Mehmet Rakım, Reis ül-müneccimin to Sultan Mahmut II, to whom the work is dedicated.
The year of composition of the text has been altered to 1241 AH (1825-26 CE) on both f 1v and f 14r for an unknown reason. The latter portion of the manuscript consists of a calendar for the year 1231 AH.
