This volume contains the following 4 texts:
ff 1v-15v : Divan-i Nedim, the collection of poems by the poet Nedim. Some of the letters appended to the Divan are signed Mehmet Nedim, who is distinct from a better known but later poet of the same name, Nedim (Ahmet), who died in 1142 AH (1729-30 CE). From the contents of the Divan, the author appears to have lived under Mehmet IV, about 1060-80 AH (1650-70 CE). These include: kasideler in praise of the following muftiler: Husamzade Abdurrahman (1065-66 AH/1655-56 CE), Bulevi Mustafa (1067-69 AH/1657-59 CE), Behai Mehmet (1059-64 AH/1649-1654 CE), Minkarizade Yahya (1073-84 AH/1663-75 CE), Sunizade Seyit Mehmet (1072-73 AH/1662-63 CE), as well as two other dignitaries, Hazret Mehmet Ağa and Ebu Sait Efendi (Mufti 1053-65 AH/1643-56 CE) (ff 1v-8v); gazeller in alphabetical order (ff 8v-14v); rubaiyat, mufredat and muammalar (ff 14v-15v). Three complementary letters by Mehmet Nedim are appended to the Divan, with the second one addressed to İzzet Efendi (Şeyh Mehmet) on his appointment as Sadr-i Rum or Kazasker of Rumeli (1080 AH/1670-71 CE) (ff 16r-17r);
ff 17v-18v : Mufredat-i Atayi;
ff 18v-53v : Divan-i Tıfli, by the poet Tıfli Ahmet Çelebi of İstanbul, who was a favourite of Sultan Murat IV and died in 1074 AH (1664-65 CE). The Divan consists of gazeller in alphabetical order, with a few kıt'alar at the end (f 51r) and some chronograms relating to the building of a palace by Murat IV in 1041 AH (1631-32 CE) and to other occurences, the latest of which is dated 1062 AH (1651-52 CE);
ff 54v-98v : Divan-i Rızai, the collected poetry of Ali İbn-i Mehmet Rızai, who was the son of Mufti Yahya Efendi's sister, and who followed the legal profession. Having been appointed the Kadı of Cairo, he landed at Bulaq in Zulhicce 1038 AH (July-August 1629 CE). He was then suffering from ophthalmia and died three months later on 28 Safer 1039 AH (17 October 1629 CE). An allusion to the aforementioned disease can be found in several lines of a poem on f 92v. The poet frequently refers to the master (üstat) to whom he submitted his verses, but without naming him. This was probably his uncle Yahya Efendi, who was also his preceptor.
The work contains both unvans and gold-ruled margins.
The manuscript was copied by Derviş İbrahim Vehdi eş-Şehir bi-Kapudan Hasan Paşazade between Recep 1107 AH (February 1696 CE) in İstanbul and Zulhicce 1108 AH (June-July 1697 CE) in Edirne.
