This volume contains the poetry of Lami'i (Osman İbn-i Ali, died 938 AH/1531-32 CE). The text is divided as follows:
ff 1v-59r : Defter I, beginning with a na't;
ff 59v-95r : Defter II, containing kasideler, tercibendler, and other poems;
ff 95v-219v : Defter III, gazeller, arranged alphabetically;
ff 220v-248v : Defter IV, müteferrikat, with many chronograms, arranged in chronological order. Here, the latest date which occurs is 937 AH (1530-31 CE) (on f 233r), and we may therefore take this as the earliest date of transcription of the text.
The manuscript is an autograph, as the hand is identical with that of Or 10882, but ff 1-2 have been restored in a more modern hand.
