This is one of ten collections of books printed in Grantha script digitised by the EAP918 project team in South India.
The collection consists of early Grandham books in various subjects such as Vaishnavite literature, Saivite literature, epics, minor literature, Sostra and astrology.
The Kuppuswami Sastri Research Institute is a very old, reputed institution, dedicated to extensive work in areas of Sanskrit and related Indology research. KSRI operates out of the famous Sanskrit College Compound in the traditional Mylapore in Chennai. KSRI maintains an in-house library of some 60,000 books in its area of activities and a set of rare palm manuscripts; some 12,000 of the books in the library are considered old and rare.
