This volume contains the collected poetry of Ruşeni (Dede Ömer), whose death took place in 892 AH (1486-87 CE). This copy contains the following works :
ff 1v-40r : Kitab-i Miskin, an exposition of mystical doctrine illustrated by numerous anecdotes ;
ff 40v-41v : Silsilename-yi Meşaih, a Persian mesnevi;
ff 41v-61r : Risale-yi Çobanname, an Ottoman Turkish version of the story of the shepherd from the Mesnevi of Celaleddin Rumi. The work begins with a Persian preface containing praise of Rumi and ends with a chronogram giving the date 890 AH (1485-86 CE);
ff 61r-66v : Münacat and praises of Rumi's Mesnevi, apparently an appendix to the previous text;
ff 66v-109r : Der sifat-i ney, a mystical mesnevi explaining the mystical significance of the flute (ney) in the introduction of Rumi's Mesnevi;
ff 109r-153r : The Divan of Ruşeni comprised of terciyat (ff 109r-118r); a muhammes (ff 118r-v); gazeller (ff 118v-141v); and rubaiyat (ff 141v-153r).
The folios of the work show signs of considerable water damage.
The manuscript was copied in 1012 AH (1603-04 CE).
