This volume contains a poetical anthology drawn primarily from poets who flourished during the 17th-18th centuries CE. It opens with rubaiyat and müfredat (ff 4r-5r), some of which are in Persian and Arabic. There are followed by a kaside by Vehbi (f 5v) in praise of Sultan Ahmet III. Further poems of the same type by Vehbi follow, the last being a Sıhhatname in celebration of the recovery of Ahmet III from an illness (f 43r). The other poets whose work is represented in the anthology are Münif-i Antaki (f 75r); Hıfzi (f 91v); Hakki-yi Nasrani (f 95r); Haşmet (ff 97r, 164v); Nedim (ff 105v, 154v, 165r, 167r); Nef'i (f 107v); Ruşeni (f 108r); Nabi Efendi (ff 108v-133v); Vehbi (ff 134r-143v, 163r), among whose poems is a tahmis by Necip (f 137v); Münif (the Divançe) (ff 144r, 153v, 169r-171v); Şakir Bey (f 154r); Asım (f 161r); Vecdi (f 161r); Naili (f 162r); Sabit (f 162v); Nahifi (ff 165r-166r); Rasih, Enis and Lem'i (f 165v); Rahmi (f 172r); Neşati (ff 172r-v); Atif (f 172v); Sabri (f 173r); İzaki (f 173v); Resim and Talib (ff 174v, 179r); Ali (f 175r); Sipahi (f 177v); Hüsrev (f 178v); and Şahi (f 180r).
The remaining items in this manuscript are the Persian mystical mesnevi Nān va ḥalvā of Shaykh Bahāᵓī (Bahā al-Dīn ᶜāmilī) beginning with a short prose preface in Arabic (ff 180v-189v); a short tract in Arabic by ᶜalī ibn Abi Ṭālib on nikāḥ (f 190r); an Arabic kaside by Abdullah Efendi Fahrizade with the tanzir of Şeyh Ahmet el-Nahvi called Shāᶜir Ḥillī (ff 190v-192r); and a Persian kasidah by Ṣadr al-Dīn Najafī (ff 192v-197r), with miscellaneous poems (na’t, tarih, tahmisat, etc.), some in Arabic. On f 200v there is a poem by Füzuli with another composition copied by the author named Ahmet, who is perhaps the compiler of this anthology. On f 203r, we find a Bahariye by Seyit Ahmet Fahrizade (the same person?), followed by an Arabic prose tract (ff 204v-206v); Arabic poems by Ahmet İbn-i Seyit Hamit (ff 207r-v), the first containing a chronogram for the year 1181 AH (1767-68 CE); poems by Es’at Efendi (ff 208v-213r); an Arabic tract by Fethullah Efendi (f 213v) followed by verses (ff 215r-220v), all in Arabic except those on f 220r.
Works by the following poets appear in the margins, which are rather ill-defined in this manuscript: Fesihi (f 146v); Vali (f 147r); Hami (f 148r); Nedim (f 149r); Muhibbi (f 151r); Bihişti (f 152r); Asım (ff 154v, 156v); Neyli (f 155r); Neşati (f 155v); Nami (ff 157v-158v); İzzet Ali Paşa (f 160v); Mahtumi (ff 163v, 166v); and quatrains by various writers.
Several different hands are recognized in the calligraphy towards the end of the text.
The manuscript was probably copied in the 18th century CE.
