This volume contains a collection of letters, probably made to provide models of epistolary style, including letters to the author's parents and petitions (arızalar); but the collection consists primarily of letters of congratulations. It begins with the rubric İzzet Paşa tarafından tebrik sadarat zammında gelen şakkadır.
The other names that appear in the rubrics are as follows: Hafız Paşa, Vali of Sıvas (f 2r); İzzet Mehmet Paşa (f 3v); Mustafa Paşa, Elviye-yi Hamse Müşiri (f 5v); Celal Paşa (f 11r); Nafızzade Emir Molla (f 18v); Guranizade, Başkâtip of Aleppo (f 19r); Mahir Bey, Evkaf Naziri (f 20v); Emin Efendi (f 22r); Esma Sultan (f 25v); Şeyh Necati Efendi (f 28r); Şirvanizade Mehmet Rüşdü, Evkaf Naziri. The dates on these letters range from 1261 AH (1845 CE) (f 22r) to 1291 AH (1874-75 CE) (f 30v).
The remaining items in this mecmua are all poems, most of which were added at a date later than the preceding letters: a letter in rhyme by Fatin Efendi (ff 34v-35r); poems by Rüşdü and Hadi (f 36r) - the latter appears to be son of the former (the same as Şirvanizade Mehmet) and the compiler of this miscellany; poems by Reşidi (ff 36v-37r); and Rüşdü (f 37v); a chronogram by Fatin giving the year 1267 AH (1850-51 CE) (f 38v); a poem written for Şeref Hanım Nafız (f 39v); a chronogram by Safvet Efendi Kavizade (f 40r); a poem by Miralay Kazım Bey (f 40v); more chronograms giving the date 1288 AH (1872-72 CE), some addressed to the nephew of Nuri Efendi and other dated 1268 AH (1851-52 CE) and 1272 AH (1855-56 CE) (f 44r); and more for 1268 AH (1851-52 CE) (f 45r).
This is followed by two gazeller of Hadi, who appears to be the compiler of this collection (f 46v); some notes on esham (ff 48v-49r); geographical notes in connection with a map of the Black Sea (f 50r); followed by various poems consisting of gazeller and şarkılar (ff 50v-55r), one of which is a joint effort by a poet whose mahlas is Şeyh and a Kazım Efendi (f 53v).
Several folios have been mounted upside down and some are blank on one side.
The manuscript was copied in the latter half of the 19th century.
