This volume contains a Sufi work in mixed prose and verse attributed to Kaygusuz Aptal, the traditional founder of the famous Bektaşi tekke at Cairo. He was the halife of Derviş Aptal Musa.
The name of the copyist appears on f 41r as Çökeli Derviş Ali, bende of Kalfazade Derviş Mustafa. A gazel by him appears at the end of the manuscript.
