This volume contains the report produced by Giridi el-Hacc Ahmet Efendi, who went to Wallachia and Moldavia as the head of a committee sent by the Porte to investigate the complaints of the Boyars against Ottoman troop who had illegally encroached on their lands. He proposed reforms as a result of which order was re-established in the regions.
This tract begins with a geographical description of the region and gives the text of the reports which passed between the author and the authorities in İstanbul. On the last folio, there is a list of the illegal settlements and the date 1174 AH (1760-61 CE).
