This volume contains the following texts :
(I) ff 2r-45v : A poem on religious beliefs, imperfect at the beginning, composed in 1037 AH (1627-28 CE) by İlmi (ff 2r, 45r). The title of the work appears to be Nazm-i akaid or Nazm fi ilm il-akaid, which appears on f 45v. This is followed by various notes ;
(II) ff 48v-55r : Risale-i Kadızade el-merhum berayi devran ;
(III) ff 55v-63v : A poem by Üsküdari Mahmud Efendi in mesnevi followed by other untitled poems of the same type ;
(IV) ff 63v-64v : A list of Prophets whose names occur in the Qur'an ;
(V) f 65r : A poem on belief (İman) and a single verse (müfred) ;
(VI) ff 65v-72r : Risale-yi sual ve cevap, a tract on religious observance, by Lutfi Paşa (Lutfi İbn-i Abdülmuin) ;
(VII) ff 72v-77v : A kaside by Kadızade Mehmet Efendi ;
(VIII) ff 78r-119v : A note on religious observances in the form of question and answer followed by the Vasiyetname, the well-known guide to Islamic doctrine by Birgili Mehmet Efendi. The text was copied in 1057 AH (1647-48 CE) ;
(IX) ff 120r-121v : Prayers with an Ottoman Turkish translation ;
(X) ff 122v-129r : Another tract by Birgili Mehmet Efendi on whether it is lawful to pay for anyone to recite the Qur'an ;
(XI) ff 129v-130r : Aphorisms (zurub-i emsal) of Kadızade Mehmet Efendi ;
(XII) ff 130v-132r : A tract on the grades of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم apart from the Aşere-yi mübeşşere ;
(XIII) ff 132r-134r : Fetava of Kemalpaşazade on dancing and sema' followed by two blank folios ;
(XIV) ff 135v-136v : On the letters which make up the Fatiha ;
(XV) f 137v : A tract on the use of tobacco ;
(XVI) f 137v : A poem by Levni ;
(XVII) ff 138r-v : A versified nasihetname ;
(XVIII) f 139r : a poem in praise of Köprülüzade Fazıl Ahmet Paşa ; and
(XIX) ff 139v-142v : Fikiname-yi namazi, a tract explaining how to pray with concentration and humility, followed by various prayers, notes and fragments of poems.
The manuscript largely appears to have been copied in the 17th century CE, with most tracts in the same hand as text VIII.
