Vīdevdād sādah
- Scope & Content:
-
The Vīdevdād sādah copied according to notes in Persian and Gujarati on f. 1r by the learned Dastur Darab, the teacher of Anquetil-Duperron (1731-1805) between 1758 and 1760.
The copy is without a colophon but presumably dates from the mid-18th century.
The manuscript has been rebound in its original binding and the internal boards have been extracted and are preserved as extras.
Also included is a postcard dated 29 October 1884 addressed to Professor Karl Geldner (1852-1929) in Tübingen which presumably dates from the time when he was examining this copy for his edition.
