A copy of the Yasna Sādah (the simple text of the Yasna ritual without any commentary) without colophon. Folios 1- 24, 253 and 259-61 have been supplied by a late 18th century hand and folio 24 has been bound in upside down.
Folios ii verso and i recto contain an extended description of the work in English, possibly by Samuel Guise.

Foliation: ff. ii+261+i, with two different sequences marked in Gujarati. Folio 24r blank
Layout: 12 lines per page; replacement folios 13 lines to a page; catch words.
Script: Avestan.
Ink: black; some verse dividers and instructions are in red.
Binding: leather islamic binding, without flap; gilt central stamped medallion, pendants, four corners and ruled borders.
Condition: Good.

Provenance:
This manuscript belonged previously to Samuel Guise (1751-1811), Head Surgeon at the East India Company's Factory in Surat 1788-95 and was acquired by him in India, possibly from the widow of Dastur Darab.
