Zoroastrian liturgy

A collection of various Baj liturgies described on the flyleaf in Persian as Drūn yashtān and on the endpaper as “Daroun Sade.”
Completed in the month of Adar with the name of the scribe obliterated (Persian inscription on endpaper).
The flyleaf and the endpaper have been reversed and are consequently now upside down.
Flyleaf recto contains a diagrammatic horoscope in twelve numbered sections.

Provenance:
This manuscript belonged previously to Samuel Guise (1751-1811), Head Surgeon at the East India Company's Factory in Surat 1788-95 and was acquired by him in India, possibly from the widow of Dastur Darab.
