Language(s): Sanskrit
Title: Kāśīkhaṇḍa with a commentary (Gūḍhārthā) part 2The author of the commentary is surnamed Caitanyavana, he is the son of Mukundapriya and Gandharvī, grandson of Gadādhara, and pupil of Caturbhuja, and Rāmendravana (?also called Surendra or Devendra).
See Cat.Bodl., nos. 120-22; Rāj Mitra, Notices, vi., p.255 (uttarārdham).
The original first 95 leaves have been lost, and replaced by 111 leaves of smaller size, containing the text only (as far as adhy. 65, v.8; fol. 86a of IO San 2754) After this the numbering of the leaves runs on from fol. 96 to 251 (two leaves being numbered 146); and the beginning of this original portion (adhy. 66, v.106) corresponds exactly to fol. 96 of IO San 2754.
Apart from those later 111 leaves, two different hands have altered with each other in producing this MS.
