A Jaina treatise on arithmetic, professing to be founded on the rules laid down by Mahāvārācārya, the founder of the sect).

In five parts.

The subject is introduced on fol. 2v, with some general remarks on the importance of arithmetic in a variety of human pursuits.

Incipit: praṇipatya varddhamānaṃ vidyānaṃdaṃ viśuddhaguṇanilayaṃ| sūriṃ ca mahāvīraṃ kurve tadgaṇitaśāstrasadvṛttiṃ॥१॥ f. 1v
