Title: Śrīkaṇṭhacarita

A poem in 25 cantos (sarga) celebrating Śiva's victory over the Asura Tripura, composed about 1140 A.D.

According to Professor Buhler the poet was from Kaśmīr and was son of Viśvāvarta 9colophons and comm.; Viśvavarta, III.35) and grandson of Manmatha.
