Brahma-Sūtra with a commentary
Contents
Language(s): sa-Tel
Title: Brahma-Sūtra with a commentaryThe ms consists of two parts: the first seven unnumbered leaves contain the commentary on sūtras 24-27 of the third Pāda of the first Adhyāya in a more correct form than in the second part. The second part contains the text and commentary on sūtras 1-34 of that Pāda. The commentary is very elaborate, and makes free use of Śaṅkara's Bhāṣya. The sūtras are not numbered but clearly marked off the text. The commentary on the last sūtra is unfinshed and breaks off at folio 127.
The style of writing changes at at the end of folio 126. The ms is uninked, inaccurate and carelessly written. From folio 110 most of the leaves are damaged. The boards are ornamented with a coloured floral design.
