The archive is supplementary to a previous deposit, which may be found under reference numbers MS Mus. 1123-1156. Its contents include music scores and preliminary material for a number of Elias’s works, in both paper and digital form; professional and personal correspondence (for example, with his publishers, Chester Music, and fellow musicians); contracts and commissions documentation; project files; mixed ephemera; photographs; programme notes and audio content.
