- Scope & Content:
- This manuscript is written on golden fan shape paper and mounted in a frame. This calligraphy was written by Liu Zhengcheng (劉正成, 1946- ) in summer 2012. The content "春夜喜雨 (Delighting in Rain in a Spring Night) is one of Du Fu's (杜甫, 712-770) poems describing rain on a spring night. The colophon shows the detail of the content, time of writing, and the first name of the author (杜甫春夜喜雨。壬辰夏，正成). Two stamps are present: "Stamp of Zhengcheng (正成之印)" in white characters and "Liu from West Su (西蜀[四川]劉氏)" in red characters.
