pp. 1-22: ‘The Account of ye Coronation of Queen Ann’. Detailed description of ceremonial procession, coronation and ensuing formal celebrations. The account includes digressions on points of difference and similarity with previous coronations (e.g. pp. 10, 19, 21).
pp. 23-28: ‘An account of what was seen in Bath on Thursday the 23d of April being ye corronat[i]on of queen Ann’. Account of the coronation celebrations in Bath. Detailed description of the ‘suburbb maids’, ‘citty maids’, ‘amazonians’ with gilded bows and arrows, grenadiers, ‘Maurice Dancers’, mayor, aldermen, artillery, musicians, etc., as they process to the church for the coronation sermon, then ‘repaire to the Guild Hall where they end the day in Dancing & Other Delights with bells & bonfires as is usuall in such solemnityes, so God save queen Ann’.
