Twelve silk paintings of famous people accompanied by biographies of each subject printed in Chinese and English. The famous schalors in the volume include Su Shi 蘇軾、Li Bai 李白、Han Yu 韓愈. Each opening has a painting of the figure on the left hand side along with their name and a description in Chinese and English on the right hand side. This concertina album is mounted between wooden boards with the Chinese character "fu (福)" carved into the front cover and stained green.
There is a title slip with title, date, and red seal '林季華' which is pasted on the inside of the front cover.
