- Dimensions: 235 x 190 mm.126 folios; Dutch paper, watermarked 'D & C Blauw', with endpapers of Javanese paper (dluwang). Strong black ink, 9-11 lines per page, some rubrication in red.Binding: original full brown Javanese leather binding, with five stamped frame bands and central medallion and corner pieces; in poor condition with leather spine missing and back cover detached.

- Ricklefs & Voorhoeve 1977: 57: 'Oorigin uncertain, but probably from John Leyden collection'. However the nastaliq annotation on f. 1r is similar to that on Mackenzie manuscripts taken to Calcutta.
