The material from this project comprises correspondence and reports from the Office of the District Coordinating Council for the Northern Territories of the Gold Coast to District Commissioners in the Northern Territories. The records are mostly correspondence on Land Disputes, Land and Native Rights Ordinance and Allocation of Plots. It also contain classes of records that deal with issues relating to Chietaincy Affairs, Distolment, Death and Appointmet of Chiefs, Yendi Chieftaincy Affairs, Dagomba State Council, Karaga Affairs, Native Laws and Customs, and reports on the Northern Territories written by colonial adminsitrators.
