Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu, in a box. ff. 1-89, 100-109 (despite gap in numbering, no folios appear to be missing). 131 x 94 mm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 116 x 85 mm. Single-line borders. Fishtail design on hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text, with printed dakuten and a few furigana. 11 lines to page, c. 20 characters to line.
Original black covers, with original printed title slip. Gedai: Shinpan (tsunogaki) nendaiki / Jōkyō (tsunogaki) ōdaiki 新板 (角書) 年代記 / 貞享 (角書) 王代記. Title from naidai on fol. 1a. Hashiragaki: [no title] , folio no. only.
Edition: First published in Keian 2 (1649), followed by later editions in Enpō 3 (1675), Tenna 4 (=Jōkyō 1, 1684) and Jōkyō 2 (1685).
Contents: A brief chronological account of the reigns of the first 113 emperors of Japan, beginning with Jinmu Tennō in the mythical period.
