Edition: Editions of this work, with some variations in title, were published at frequent intervals (perhaps annually) between c. Shōhō 正保 and Hōei 宝永 periods (1644-1711). The present copy, with deleted kanki dated Genroku 4 (1691), was presumably intended for use in Genroku 5 (壬申, 1692), the year in which Kaempfer left Japan.
Contents: A directory of senior bakufu officials and daimyō 大名 in the city of Edo, giving details of rank, income in koku 石, mon and other insignia, and place of residence in Edo. This work was revised, updated and republished at regular intervals.
