Edition: First edition was published in Kan'ei 17 (1640) with the above imprint. This copy appears to be a reprint (fukkoku 覆刻), from newly cut blocks, of the original Kan'ei 17 edition, probably printed c. 1640-50. A second edition was published in Kanbun 9, 1669.
Contents: Commentary on the Jindai no maki 神代巻, the first two chapters of Nihon shoki 日本書紀. A batsubun associating the compilation of this work with Kiyohara Nobukata, printed on fol. 10 of maki 11, is dated Kyōroku 4 享禄辛卯, 1531. Kokusho sōmokuroku 国書総目録, however, gives the date of compilation as Tenbun 5 天文五年, 1536.
