Imprint: N.p., Genroku 16, 1703. Original kanki on fol. 26b of maki 下 reads: 元禄十六年癸未正月吉日. Later okuzuke (early 19th century ?) on final endpaper reads (in part) : 大坂書肆 河内屋喜兵衛 ／ 河内屋和助 梓.
Description: 3 kan, 1 satsu, rebound in 1 vol. western style. (Maki 上) ff. 3, 52; (maki 中) ff. 5, 57; (maki 下) ff. 4, 26. 15.6 x 10.9 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 14.4 x 9.2 cm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana. 9 lines to page, c. 22 characters to line.
Original black front cover only, with printed title slip. Gedai: Zōho (tsunogaki) nichiyō shokushō taizen 増補 (角書) 日用食性大全. Title from naidai at head of maki 上. Hashiragaki: Nichiyō jō 日用上 (Shokushō chū, ge 食性中, 下) + folio no.
Edition: Second edition (Genroku 16, 1703) of a work first published in Genroku 11 元禄十一年 (1698) under the title Shokumotsu wage taisei. Later editions were published in Kansei 2 (1790) and Bunsei 12 (1829).
