Description: 3 kan, formerly in 3 satsu, rebound in 1 vol. western style. (Maki 上) ff. [1] (序), 33; (中) ff. 26; (下) ff. 21 (text apparently incomplete). 24.7 x 17.8 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 18.6 x 14.7 cm. Single-line borders. No printed hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text, with furigana printed sparingly. 10 lines to page, 18-19 characters to line.
Original light blue front cover of satsu 1, with printed title slip on left bearing gedai: Sukiya kōhō hinagata 數奇屋工法雛形. Title from naidai at head of each maki. Maki and folio numbering at inner edge verso of each leaf. In a western style half-leather binding.
Edition: Apparently the only edition printed in Edo period. This is a later impression, probably 18th century, from the original blocks of Jōkyō 3 (1686). Text is preceded by two identical tobira on mikaeshi, giving title as Sukiya kōhō hinagata 數奇屋工法雛形 and publisher as Tsurugaya Kyūbē of Ōsaka.
