Description: 6 kan, 6 satsu, in a chitsu case. (1) ff. 42; (2) ff. 45; (3) ff. 45; (4) ff. 40; (5) ff. 49; (6) ff. 54. 25.2 x 18.8 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 20.8-21.4 x 16.6-17.2 cm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana. 11 lines to page, 20-22 characters to line.
Original mid-blue covers, with original printed title slips. Gedai: Korō monogatari 古老物語. Title from naidai at head of each maki. Hashiragaki: Ikusa monogatari 軍物語 + maki no. + folio no.
Edition: The only recorded edition was published in Manji 4 万治四年 (1661) by Araki Rihē 荒木利兵衞. Blocks were acquired by Hishiya Jihē (active from Genroku period), who issued the present reprint probably c. Genroku or Hōei period. A copy of the same reprint is in Ōsaka Furitsu Toshokan.
Contents: A collection of war tales (gunki monogatari 軍記物語) of unknown authorship.
