This volume contains an ethical treatise aimed at women, with edifying stories compiled from several works, probably Persian, by Abdüllatif İbn-i Durmuş Fakif İbn-i Selim Fakih (f 236r). The author's name, however, is given as Abdüllatif İbn-i Durmuş Fakih İbn-i Selim Zeki by Blochet (S. 481), following on from Haj. Khal. (V, pp. 631-32). The latter mentions that Şeyh Abdüllatif Karamani called Sipah alluded to a work that had compied in 10 makalat called Adabu'l-menazil in another work of his, entitled Miracu'l-muştakin.
Although the title Adabu'l-menazil is preferable to Menazil-i adap, the latter does appear as both the header of the work and throughout the text in this particular volume.
A note about Abu Jahl can be found on f 236v, added on the verso of the final page of the main text of the work.
This manuscript was copied in 1163 AH (1749-50 CE).
