This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the well-known Arabic miscellany of classical prose and verse by Al-Ibshīhī entitled Mustaṭraf fī kull fann mustaẓraf (مستطرف في كل فن مستظرف). The translator's name was Hafız Ahmet Etmekçizade (died 1242 AH/1826-27 CE).
The first two folios of the text contains fine illumination that is exemplary of the style of the period.
This manuscript was copied by Mustafa İbn-i Süleyman Manyasi in 1230 AH (1814-15 CE).
