This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish translation of the Persian version of the biography of the Prophet Muhammad صلعم (Muntaqá) (منتقى) by Saᶜīd al-Dīn Kāzarūnī. In the preface, the translator states (f 2r) that he was ordered by his brother Karaçelebizade Mehmet Efendi to translate the work into Ottoman Turkish within the space of 100 days, so this must be the version by the better known Karaçelebizade Abdülaziz Efendi mentioned under the title Fevaihü'n-nebeviye fi siyeri'l-mustafaviye.
This manuscript was copied by Derviş Mehmet İbn-i Hasan Macuni at Gelibolu in 1161 AH (1748-49 CE).
