This volume contains an Ottoman Turkish commentary by Mevlana Arap Çelebi, a müderris at Eyüp (f 2r), on the Wiqāyat al-riwāyah fī masā’il il-hidāyah (وقاية الرواية في مسائل الهداية), the well-known manual of Hanafi furūᶜ by al-Maḥbūbī.
This manuscript was copied by Osman İbn-i Hamza İbn-i Mehmet el-Medeni at the medrese of Eyüp in İstanbul, in 965 AH (1557-58 CE).
