Imprint: [Kyōto], Kameya Hanzaemon, Nagaharaya Magobē, Tenna 2, 1682. Kanki on fol. 280b reads: 天和貳壬戌年孟冬仲旬 ／ 亀谷半左衛門 ／ 永原屋孫兵衛 ／ 板行.
Description: 1 kan, formerly in 5 satsu, now rebound in 2 vols. western style. ff. 13 (preface + mokuroku + hanrei + list of works consulted), 280. 15.3 x 11 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 12 × 9.1 cm. (average). Fishtail design on hanshin.
Text in kanji, with printed furigana (katakana). 6 lines to page, variable no. of characters to line. Renewed front covers, one pale blue, one brown, at head of each bound volume. Renewed title slips with manuscript gedai: 倭語對類. Title from naidai at head of preface and mokuroku. Title of hanrei: Mingoshū wago tairui hanrei 眠寤集和語對類凡例. Hashiragaki: Wago 和語 + folio no.
Edition: The only recorded edition of this work.
Contents: A classified dictionary of words and phrases drawn from Chinese and Japanese literary sources, explained in Japanese, for use in composing haikai poetry. Published as a supplement to the same compiler's Mingoshū 眠寤集 in 2 satsu. This copy lacks Mingoshū. Batsu on ff. 277-280 written by the compiler.
