This volume contains the following two texts :
(I) ff 1v-90r : [Tarih-i Kostantiniye ve Aya Sofya ve Bazı Hikayat], a history of İstanbul and Aya Sofya containing considerable legendary matter, the last event being the building of Süleymaniye Camii between 1550-57 CE, compiled by Ali el-Arabi, el muallim fi bab il-vezir, in 970 AH (1562-63 CE). The work is dedicated to the Grand Vezir Ali Paşa. It ends with chronograms in Arabic, Persian and Ottoman Turkish giving the date of composition. This text was copied in 970 AH (1562-63 CE) by İskenderi Abdullah ;
(II) ff 93v-107r : Kitab-i Baytarname, a treatise without author listed on farriery (the care of horses' feet), said in the preface to have been composed by Aristotle for 'İskender Zü'l-Karneyn' (Alexander the Great). The text is imperfect at the end and was copied by the same hand as text I.
