Scope & Content:

This volume contains the following three Divanlar :

(I) ff 1v-49v : Divan-i Neşati, the collected poetry of Neşati (Ahmet Dede, died 1085 AH/1674-75 CE). It begins with a na't, followed by longer poems. The gazeller can be found on ff 1v-28r, and the Divan ends with rubaiyat. The manuscript is undated, but was likely copied in the 18th century CE ;

(II) ff 50r-55v : Part of the Divan-i Atıf Mustafa Efendi (died 1155 AH/1742-43 CE), consisting entirely of gazeller. This manuscript was also likely copied in the 18th century CE ;

(III) ff 56r-90v : Divan-i İshak Efendi (died 1147 AH/1734-35 CE), of which the opening folios are missing and the text begins in the middle of a poem. The portion of the Divan found in this volume lacks folios after ff 57v and 77v, and consists, for the most part, of gazeller mixed with other poems. This Divan is in the same hand as II and is thus likely also from the 18th century CE.
