Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu, in a chitsu case. ff. 15 (mokuroku on fol. 1a). 27.1 x 18.5 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 21.9 x 17.8 cm. (average). Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text, with printed dakuten, kutōten and some furigana. 14 lines to page, c. 26 characters to line. Section headings marked by black triangles (▲).
Original mid-blue covers, badly damaged and rubbed. Remnant of blue paper on front cover worn wafer-thin. Title slip missing, hence no gedai. Title from mokurokudai. No other naidai. Bidai: かんきんせう終. Hashiragaki: Kankin かんきん + folio no.
Edition: The present copyseems to be maki 下 of Amida hadaka monogatari あみたはたか物語 (see 16107.h.10). In the bottom left corner of fol. 15a appears a fragment of a printed mokki such as often framed the name of the publisher Shōkai 松會. The present copy is therefore provisionally identified as maki 下 of the Shōkai edition of Amida hadaka monogatari, published c. Kanbun 6 (1666).
Contents: A kana-zōshi work in the form of questions put by Ozasa no Tametada 小笹爲忠 to the monk Ikkyū 一休 about Buddhist doctrines concerning Amida Buddha, and Ikkyū's explanation expressed in Simple language.
