Scope & Content:

This volume is a mecmua containing religious tracts, including the following:

(I) ff 2r-47v : An Arabic tract entitled Khulāṣat siyar sayyid al-Bashar (خلاصة سير سيد البشر), copied by Mehmet Fazıl Rahi, without a date provided ;

(II) ff 48v-71r : Al-tajrīd fī kalimat al-tawḥīd (التجريد في كلمة التوحيد), an Arabic tract by al-Ghazzālī ;

(III) ff 71v-75r : ᶜaqīdat ahl al-tawḥīd al-ṣughrá (عقيدة اهل التوحيد الصغرى) or Umm al-barāhīn (ام البراهين), an Arabic exposition of the fundatmentals of Islam by Muḥammad Yūsuf al-Sanūsī ;

(IV) ff 75v-77r : An Ottoman Turkish translation of the previous tract ;

(V) ff 77v-86v : An Ottoman Turkish tract on Islamic articles of belief, copied in 1088 AH (1677-78 CE) ;

(VI) ff 87v-91r : An Ottoman Turkish tract on the tevhit (oneness of God) ;

(VII) ff 91v-94r : Various prayers in Arabic.

A date of transcription of 1100 AH (1688-89 CE) appears on f 94r. The entirety of the manuscript is likely from the late 17th century CE.
