This volume contains the following four buyuruldular :
(I) A document for the protection of Lord Sandon and Lord Carnarvon (written اوقادين so rather dubious) traveling from Erzurum to Trabzon. The document is dated 1269 AH (1852-53 CE) ;
(II) Another safe conduct for the same individuals, this time directed to governors along the route from Trabzon to İstanbul, also dated 1269 AH (1852-53 CE) ;
(III) Another document that asks for safe passage in Arabic for the protection of the Fourth Earl of Carnarvon (1831-90 CE) and Viscount Sandon travelling through Aleppo to Mosul, also dated 1269 AH (1852-53 CE) ;
(IV) Another safe passage request for a Mr. Burgess (?) and his servant who have left for the 'quay of Sayave' in Corfu, dated 1250 AH (1834-35 CE).
