This manuscript contains the accounts of the vendor 三益號 (San yi hao) and records transactions of tea between them and other vendors.
There is a stamp on the second folio which provides the address of the vendor and promotes their honesty, integrity and high quality products. It reads: "本號在上洋大東門外吳家街口自造加工精選真貢川毛鹿鮮豔紅花格帳 士商賜顧者須認明本號招牌 劃一不二 童叟無欺"
There is a red title slip with the title "茶總" pasted on the title page.
