This volume contains a guide to Islamic doctrine and practice by the early Ottoman jurist Kutbüddin Mehmet el-İzniki (died 821 AH/1418-19 CE). This copy is divided into fusul and ebvap which are not numbered, with many marginal notes. There is a further division (indicated in the margins) into matalib (of anger, repentance, etc.).
This work has been lettered 'Raḥāt al-ḳulūb' on the basis of a pencil note on f 1r, but the manuscript ends with the words 'tammat ... al-Muqaddimah' and is, in fact, identical with other copies of the Mukaddime.
The spelling of the text is characteristic of Old Anatolian Turkish.
This manuscript was likely copied in the late 15th or early 16th century CE.
