This volume contains an abridged Ottoman Turkish version of the Kitāb al-milal wa’l-niḥal (كتاب الملل والنحل), the book of religious and philosophical sects of Shahrastānī, made by Derviş Ahmet in the reign of Murat IV.
Although this copy is lettered 'Risāle-i ṭariḳat', the correct title appears on f 4r.
This manuscript was copied in 1201 AH (1786-87 CE).
